SympathiQ welcomes qualified coaches and wellbeing professionals who have appropriate training and experience in stress management, burnout prevention, resilience or related areas. Every application is reviewed individually to ensure that specialists can provide safe, ethical and professional support.
Applicants must have completed relevant coaching training and hold a recognised qualification or professional certification. Additional credentials, accreditations and memberships of professional coaching bodies should also be included in the application.
Both experienced and newly qualified coaches may apply. Applicants should be able to demonstrate that they have the appropriate knowledge, practical training and professional readiness to support clients independently.
Every applicant must complete SympathiQ's verification process. This may include providing government-issued identification, qualifications, certifications, professional memberships and evidence of relevant experience. Profiles are published only after approval.
Coaches may apply from countries around the world, provided they are legally permitted to offer their services, can deliver sessions online and comply with the professional requirements of the countries in which they operate.
Coaches must hold appropriate professional indemnity or liability insurance where required by their profession or local regulations. SympathiQ may request valid proof of insurance during verification or at any time while the coach remains active on the platform.
Personal development coaches must not diagnose or treat mental health conditions or present themselves as therapists unless they hold the qualifications, licences and insurance legally required to provide those services.

Yes. To protect clients and maintain the quality of our community, personal development coaches must hold a relevant recognised coaching qualification or certification. Every application is reviewed, and we may request evidence of qualifications, professional experience, identity and insurance before approving a profile.
Newly qualified coaches are welcome to apply. However, aspiring coaches who have not yet completed relevant professional training or certification will need to do so before their profile can be approved. We assess each application individually, considering qualifications, experience and readiness to work with clients professionally.
Yes. You choose your session price, duration and availability. SympathiQ deducts a 10% service fee from the specialist's session rate, while the client pays a £4 booking fee. There is no monthly subscription fee.
Yes. You can continue operating your existing coaching practice while using SympathiQ to reach new clients and manage online bookings. Your existing clients and independent business remain yours. Clients introduced through SympathiQ should be managed in accordance with the platform's Terms and Conditions.
